A factor was AP credits that didn't transfer. You only get credit for 4's and 5's at GAC while the U will accecpt 3s. However, unless its AP Physics or AP Chem or AP Bio, if you are getting 3's on your AP tests you should probably be taking the course over. A 3 on a AP Macro exam means you learned how to draw a supply and demand graph and that's it.

His 100 backstroke time got considerably faster than from his time in HS. He might have been a 54 in HS @ the fastest and he was a 51 @ the U.
As to the chaleen situation, thats really unfortunate for GAC that he will not be attending, and over some test scores? Really? He should just take the lower level classes and collect an easy A.

Here's a 3rd grade math question for you, swim4more.
Given: Student scores a 3 on 4 different AP exams.
Given: College A gives full credit for scores 3 and above
Given: College A charges 900 per course
Given: College B gives full credit for scores 4 and above
Given: College B charges 4000 per course
Proove: College A is the better choice.
Proof: U of M, college A, 4 credits = $0
GAC, college B, 4 credits = $16,000
